Description

Please join InterAction’s Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Working Group on October 15th for International DRR Day to discuss these differences, and ways in which we can work better together to implement programs to approach preparedness in a more holistic manner. The afternoon will feature two panels – an external stakeholder panel with representatives from civil society, the U.S. government, the private sector, and the World Bank; the second will be more inwardly focused with representatives from the health, shelter, livelihoods, and WASH sectors. The recipient of the FedEx Award for Innovations in Disaster Preparedness will also be announced. A reception will follow.
